So why are Teeter inversion tables considered to be so good?

Teeter have been making inversion tables a lot longer than many other manufacturers.

Since 1981 they have been refining, testing and fine tuning their inversion tables to be the best and the safest around.

Features and Specifications of the Teeter EP-960

It is worth mentioning that this 960 model is very similar to the Teeter Ep-560. However, the EP-960 does have a few extra features and costs a bit extra, it is essentially an upgraded model.

Much like the 560 the Teeter Ep-960 can be adjusted to suit users between the heights of 4 ft 8″ – 6 ft 6″ with a maximum weight capacity of 136 Kg (300 lbs).

Other similarities with the EP-560 include the blue ergonomically designed backrest that features a small black padded headrest.

The backrest also features ridges to add extra accessories (as we will see later), as well as 3 grips for additional stretching options.

As you can see in the images, the grips on the backrest are situated on either side of the square black padded headrest, with one above it at the top of the backrest.

There is also a curve featured on the metal frame at the back for further stretching and spinal decompression as you can see in the image to the right.

Other similarities include the Tether strap to limit the inversion angle of the table. As well as the dual padded ankle holders.

Both the EP-960 and 560 also fold down for storage.

Now onto the upgraded features of the EP-960.

Aside from the price difference there are 3 extra features (pictured right) that are found on the Teeter EP-960, not available with the EP-560.

The first is the 960 features extra long side handrails (Stretch Max Handles).

Extra long handrails are particularly useful to help with stability should you be unconfident when using an inversion table.

You will actually find that most inversion tables available feature long side rails. It is only the 560 that doesn’t seem to.

The EP-960 also features added traction handles which further provides more stretching options when inverted.

Traction handles are a really nice feature that you generally will not find on other inversion tables available in the UK.

Lastly the EZ Reach ankle secure system is a nice touch to ensure you do not strain your back when fastening your ankles onto the table.

Long and easy to reach ankle fastener levers are becoming increasingly popular on many inversion tables these days.

They are a nice addition to inversion tables and a useful design feature if you find bending down too far problematic.

What is the difference between the EP-960 and the Ep-960 Ltd?

You may have noticed that both the Teeter Ep-960 and the 560 come in a Ltd edition.

On visiting the retailer you will also see it suggested that the Ep-960 Ltd is a newer model of the Ep-960.

This however, is not the case. The Ltd versions are simply the same model but they come complete with a couple of accessories that can be added to the backboard.

Firstly there is the Lumbar support Bridge which adds a gentle arch in the lumbar region on the backrest.

The second addition are the adjustable acupressure therapy nodes that can be inserted anywhere along the bed tracks. These can be used massage knots in the back and apply pressure while inverting.

With regard to the additional accessories. One last thing to point out is that due to different sellers often having varying prices, in some cases it may be a cheaper option to buy the Ep-960 with the accessories separately, rather than buying the Ep-960 Ltd package.
