As you may have already read on our homepage, this SportPlus inversion table is highly recommended and a great choice if Teeter inversion tables are a little out of your price range.

The SportPlus inversion table is available in either a black design or in red, you can choose which design to opt for on visiting the retailer.

The first thing that really stands out about this inversion table is how great it looks. The sleek design and comfortable looking backrest instantly make it stand out from other inversion tables on the UK market.

This inversion table doesn’t just rely on good looks though and has many nice features that add to it’s high quality design.

Like all inversion tables the SportPlus inversion table is height adjustable to the user. The ankle holder bar on this particular table can be easily adjusted to suit anyone between the heights of 154 – 199 cm. Approx. 5 ft – 6’5″.

Assembly is required and like many inversion tables it takes around an hour to put together. Once assembled the inversion table measures approximately 116 x 67.5 x 159 cm (L x W x H) and weighs around 24.5 kgs.

The inversion table also features a foldable design making it a little easier to store.

Inversion angle limitation

One feature that is often found on inversion tables on the US marketplace but not so much in the UK, is the adjustable inversion angle device (pictured right) on the right hand side of the table.

This allows the table to be limited to angles of 20°, 40°, 60° or 80° which is perfect for those new to inversion. You can also opt to take the pin out of the device to allow for full 90° inversion once you are a little more confident.

Many UK inversion tables feature a more primitive strap device to restrain the inversion angle (You can see the strap here on this GymMaster model). The strap needs to be adjusted before using the table and therefore the device featured on this table is a lot less hassle to use.

The “Perfect Balance” system

This feature is fairly standard for most inversion tables, it essentially allows the user to control the backrest and in turn the inversion process by moving their arms.

When your arms are raised your body and the backrest move into an inverted position. When you return your arms to the side of your body you will move forward returning to an upright position.

You also have the long arm rails on either side of the inversion table to aid you when returning from an inverted angle or to slow you when inverting.

Too quicker inversion can often be caused by not setting the table to your correct height on starting. If the inversion table is set to a height shorter than your actual height you will invert quickly and easily, similarly if you set the table to a height longer than your body length inverting will be more of an effort.
